That&#039;s really cool.  I haven&#039;t played around with Tracktion but it looks pretty cool.  Holy cow... 64-bit audio engine?  That&#039;s pretty sweet.  Maybe I&#039;ll try the demo.  I&#039;m pretty happy with Cubase 4 now, though.  Steinberg got it right this time around.</description>

		<description>In Tracktion, you just select the track with your sequence on it and click &quot;render&quot;; wait for a few seconds and presto, new audio track.  You have the option of keeping or replacing the original track, which I usually keep because you can always discard it later.</description>

		<description>You can check a box called &#039;add to pool&#039; during the mixdown and it will plop that track into the audio pool.  From there you can drag it into your session.  Your way isn&#039;t a bad way of doing it, it just will probably take longer.</description>

		<description>That fab cubase idea sounds much more sensible than my way of doing it. I generally solo the midi track and do a mixdown of the song then import the mixdown back in and put it on an audio track... er, yeah.  I&#039;m going to try it your way :)</description>
